The Lord says to my master, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool.2מַטֵּֽה־עֻזְּךָ֗ יִשְׁלַ֣ח יְ֭הֹוָה מִצִּיּ֑וֹן רְ֝דֵ֗ה בְּקֶ֣רֶב אֹיְבֶֽיךָ׃The Lord shall send thy mighty sceptre out of Żiyyon: rule in the midst of thy enemies.3עַמְּךָ֣ נְדָבֹת֮ בְּי֢וֹם חֵ֫ילֶ֥ךָ בְּֽהַדְרֵי־קֹ֭דֶשׁ מֵרֶ֣חֶם מִשְׁחָ֑ר לְ֝ךָ֗ טַ֣ל יַלְדֻתֶֽיךָ׃Thy people offered themselves willingly in the majesty of their holiness, on the day of thy battle; when still the dew of thy youth was upon thee, fresh from the womb of dawn.4נִשְׁבַּ֤ע יְהֹוָ֨ה ׀ וְלֹ֥א יִנָּחֵ֗ם אַתָּֽה־כֹהֵ֥ן לְעוֹלָ֑ם עַל־דִּ֝בְרָתִ֗י מַלְכִּי־צֶֽדֶק׃The Lord has sworn, and will not change his mind, Thou shalt be a priest forever, after the manner of Malki-żedeq.5אֲדֹנָ֥י עַל־יְמִֽינְךָ֑ מָחַ֖ץ בְּיוֹם־אַפּ֣וֹ מְלָכִֽים׃The Lord is at thy right hand, he crushes kings on the day of his wrath.6יָדִ֣ין בַּ֭גּוֹיִם מָלֵ֣א גְוִיּ֑וֹת מָ֥חַץ רֹ֝֗אשׁ עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ רַבָּֽה׃He judges among the nations: their land is full of dead bodies; he will shatter heads over many countries.7מִ֭נַּחַל בַּדֶּ֣רֶךְ יִשְׁתֶּ֑ה עַל־כֵּ֝֗ן יָרִ֥ים רֹֽאשׁ׃ {פ}He will drink of the brook in the way: therefore will he lift up the head.
