I Chronicles 25 · דברי הימים א Sh'elah Synthesis Shul mode auto-scroll active 1וַיַּבְדֵּ֣ל דָּוִיד֩ וְשָׂרֵ֨י הַצָּבָ֜א לַעֲבֹדָ֗ה לִבְנֵ֤י אָסָף֙ וְהֵימָ֣ן וִידוּת֔וּן (הנביאים) [הַֽנִּבְּאִ֛ים] בְּכִנֹּר֥וֹת בִּנְבָלִ֖ים וּבִמְצִלְתָּ֑יִם וַֽיְהִי֙ מִסְפָּרָ֔ם אַנְשֵׁ֥י מְלָאכָ֖ה לַעֲבֹדָתָֽם׃And David and the captains of the host separated for the service certain of the sons of Asaf, and of Heman, and of Yedutun, who should prophesy with lyres, with lutes, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:2לִבְנֵ֣י אָסָ֗ף זַכּ֧וּר וְיוֹסֵ֛ף וּנְתַנְיָ֥ה וַאֲשַׂרְאֵ֖לָה בְּנֵ֣י אָסָ֑ף עַ֚ל יַד־אָסָ֔ף הַנִּבָּ֖א עַל־יְדֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃of the sons of Asaf; Zekhur, and Yosef, and Netanya, and Asar᾽ela, the sons of Asaf, under the hands of Asaf, who prophesied according to the order of the king.3לִידוּת֑וּן בְּנֵ֣י יְדוּת֡וּן גְּדַלְיָ֡הוּ וּצְרִ֡י וִ֠ישַׁעְיָ֠הוּ חֲשַׁבְיָ֨הוּ וּמַתִּתְיָ֜הוּ שִׁשָּׁ֗ה עַל֩ יְדֵ֨י אֲבִיהֶ֤ם יְדוּתוּן֙ בַּכִּנּ֔וֹר הַנִּבָּ֕א עַל־הֹד֥וֹת וְהַלֵּ֖ל לַיהֹוָֽה׃ {ס}Of Yedutun: the sons of Yedutun; Gedalyahu, and Żeri, and Yesha῾yahu, Ḥashavyahu, and Mattityahu; six, under the hands of their father Yedutun, who prophesied with a lyre, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.4לְהֵימָ֑ן בְּנֵ֣י הֵימָ֡ן בֻּקִּיָּ֡הוּ מַתַּנְיָ֡הוּ עֻ֠זִּיאֵ֠ל שְׁבוּאֵ֨ל וִירִימ֜וֹת חֲנַנְיָ֣ה חֲנָ֗נִי אֱלִיאָ֤תָה גִדַּ֙לְתִּי֙ וְרֹמַ֣מְתִּי עֶ֔זֶר יׇשְׁבְּקָ֣שָׁה מַלּ֔וֹתִי הוֹתִ֖יר מַחֲזִיאֹֽת׃Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Buqqiyyahu, Mattanyahu, ῾Uzzi᾽el, Shevu᾽el, and Yerimot, Ḥananya, Ḥanani, Eli᾽ata, Giddalti, and Romamti-῾ezer, Yoshbeqasha, Malloti, Hotir, and Maĥazi᾽ot:5כׇּל־אֵ֨לֶּה בָנִ֜ים לְהֵימָ֗ן חֹזֵ֥ה הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ בְּדִבְרֵ֥י הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים לְהָרִ֣ים קָ֑רֶן וַיִּתֵּ֨ן הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים לְהֵימָ֗ן בָּנִ֛ים אַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר וּבָנ֥וֹת שָׁלֽוֹשׁ׃all these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer according to the word of God, who bade to lift up his horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.6כׇּל־אֵ֣לֶּה עַל־יְדֵי֩ אֲבִיהֶ֨ם בַּשִּׁ֜יר בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֗ה בִּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙ נְבָלִ֣ים וְכִנֹּר֔וֹת לַעֲבֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים עַ֚ל יְדֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אָסָ֥ף וִידוּת֖וּן וְהֵימָֽן׃All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, lutes, and lyres, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order Asaf, Yedutun, and Heman.7וַיְהִ֤י מִסְפָּרָם֙ עִם־אֲחֵיהֶ֔ם מְלֻמְּדֵי־שִׁ֖יר לַיהֹוָ֑ה כׇּ֨ל־הַמֵּבִ֔ין מָאתַ֖יִם שְׁמוֹנִ֥ים וּשְׁמוֹנָֽה׃So the number of them, with their brethren who were instructed in the songs of the Lord, all who were skilful, was two hundred and eighty eight.8וַיַּפִּ֜ילוּ גּוֹרָל֣וֹת מִשְׁמֶ֗רֶת לְעֻמַּת֙ כַּקָּטֹ֣ן כַּגָּד֔וֹל מֵבִ֖ין עִם־תַּלְמִֽיד׃ {פ}And they cast lots, watch against watch, the small and the great alike, the teacher together with the pupil.9וַיֵּצֵ֞א הַגּוֹרָ֧ל הָרִאשׁ֛וֹן לְאָסָ֖ף לְיוֹסֵ֑ף {ס} גְּדַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י הֽוּא־וְאֶחָ֥יו וּבָנָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}Now the first lot came out for Asaf to Yosef: the second to Gedalyahu; he with his brethren and sons were twelve:10הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֣י זַכּ֔וּר בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the third to Zakkur, his sons and his brethren, twelve:11הָֽרְבִיעִי֙ לַיִּצְרִ֔י בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the fourth to Yiżri, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:12הַחֲמִישִׁ֣י נְתַנְיָ֔הוּ בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the fifth to Netanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:13הַשִּׁשִּׁ֣י בֻקִּיָּ֔הוּ בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the sixth to Buqqiyyahu, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:14הַשְּׁבִעִ֣י יְשַׂרְאֵ֔לָה בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the seventh to Yesar᾽ela, his sons and his brethren, twelve.15הַשְּׁמִינִ֣י יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the eighth to Yesha῾yahu, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:16הַתְּשִׁיעִ֣י מַתַּנְיָ֔הוּ בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the ninth to Mattanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:17הָעֲשִׂירִ֣י שִׁמְעִ֔י בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the tenth to Shim῾i, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:18עַשְׁתֵּי־עָשָׂ֣ר עֲזַרְאֵ֔ל בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the eleventh to ῾Azar᾽el, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:19הַשְּׁנֵ֤ים עָשָׂר֙ לַֽחֲשַׁבְיָ֔ה בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the twelfth to Ḥashavya, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:20לִשְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ שֽׁוּבָאֵ֔ל בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the thirteenth to Shuva᾽el, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:21לְאַרְבָּעָ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ מַתִּתְיָ֔הוּ בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the fourteenth to Mattityahu, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:22לַחֲמִשָּׁ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ לִירֵמ֔וֹת בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the fifteenth to Yeremot, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:23לְשִׁשָּׁ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ לַחֲנַנְיָ֔הוּ בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the sixteenth, to Ḥananyahu, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:24לְשִׁבְעָ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ לְיׇשְׁבְּקָ֔שָׁה בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the seventeenth to Yoshbeqasha, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:25לִשְׁמוֹנָ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ לַחֲנָ֔נִי בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the eighteenth to Ḥanani, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:26לְתִשְׁעָ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ לְמַלּ֔וֹתִי בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the nineteenth to Malloti, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:27לְעֶשְׂרִים֙ לֶאֱלִיָּ֔תָה בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the twentieth to Eliyyata, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:28לְאֶחָ֤ד וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ לְהוֹתִ֔יר בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the twenty first to Hotir, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:29לִשְׁנַ֤יִם וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ לְגִדַּ֔לְתִּי בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the twenty second to Giddalti, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:30לִשְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ לְמַ֣חֲזִיא֔וֹת בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {ס}the twenty third to Maĥazi᾽ot, his sons, and his brethren, twelve:31לְאַרְבָּעָ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ לְרוֹמַ֣מְתִּי עָ֔זֶר בָּנָ֥יו וְאֶחָ֖יו שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָֽׂר׃ {פ}the twenty fourth to Romamti-῾ezer, his sons, and his brethren, twelve.
