And his mother’s name was Na῾ama an ῾Ammonite woman.14וַיַּ֖עַשׂ הָרָ֑ע כִּ֣י לֹ֤א הֵכִין֙ לִבּ֔וֹ לִדְר֖וֹשׁ אֶת־יְהֹוָֽה׃ {ס}And he did evil, because he did not set his heart to seek the Lord.15וְדִבְרֵ֣י רְחַבְעָ֗ם הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙ וְהָאַ֣חֲרוֹנִ֔ים הֲלֹא־הֵ֨ם כְּתוּבִ֜ים בְּדִבְרֵ֨י שְׁמַעְיָ֧ה הַנָּבִ֛יא וְעִדּ֥וֹ הַחֹזֶ֖ה לְהִתְיַחֵ֑שׂ וּמִלְחֲמ֧וֹת רְחַבְעָ֛ם וְיָרׇבְעָ֖ם כׇּל־הַיָּמִֽים׃Now the acts of Reĥav῾am, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shema῾ya the prophet, and of ῾Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Reĥav῾am and Yorov῾am continually.16וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב רְחַבְעָם֙ עִם־אֲבֹתָ֔יו וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִ֑יד וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ אֲבִיָּ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ {פ}And Reĥav῾am slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Aviyya his son reigned in his stead.
